NLP and Life Coaching Ashford Kent
NLP or neuro-linguistic programming (click on the link to see Wikipedia page on NLP) is a highly effective method of life coaching which Tim Marris uses in his work. Unlike osteopathy which is a 'hands on' approach, NLP is a 'spoken' approach.
NLP & life coaching helps you take your life in the direction you desire.
- Do you feel that your life is not where you want it to be?
- Do you feel that you want your life to 'move on'?
- Have you just ended a phase of your life but don't know where next to turn, or how to arrive where you want to be?
- Do you feel that you lack confidence or self esteem at work or in your personal life?
- Do you feel that there is 'more inside you' that you wish you could express and use in your life?
If 'yes' so then NLP & Life Coaching will help you profoundly.
Tim uses his NLP training to find out 'computer bugs' which are preventing the conscious part of the mind and our unconscious part of the mind form fully cooperating and coordinating their activity.
Let's give an example (the character is fictitious).
John is in his mid 30's and looking to improve his chances of promotion. He has always felt a low level of self esteem and a lack of self confidence. His reasons for his lack of success in gaining promotion in the past may have been his lack of skill set, or he has the skills but the way he presents himself and expresses his CV do not come across well due to his shyness and insecurities.
Perhaps his parents always 'put him down' as a child:
"You'll never manage that!"
"Why do you think you can do it, when you failed in the past?"
Perhaps his lack of ability making new friends does not help. Whatever the possible causes (NLP can help easily discover these), he will have been 'programmed' in his thinking (at an unconscious level) to think and feel his chances of success are poor. Because this is within his thinking at an unconscious level John is not aware of it and pushes himself into situations where he feels uncomfortable - because the unconscious mind is at conflict with his conscious desire for a promotion. At one level his conscious (day to day) mind is saying "I want this new job, I have all the skills required" yet his unconscious mind is silently screaming "I'm not good enough" or "I can't do that" - the messages he received when younger and now no longer appropriate.
There are a significant number of simple NLP techniques which do not require 'digging up the past' which allow the unnecessary and inappropriate old messages to be released from the mind. When this happens the unconscious and conscious thinking become 'lined up' and the mind gains great power and direction.
Just as with osteopathy when the mind changes and releases its stress NLP has the effect of releasing body tensions. Consider the mind and body like two ends of a piece of string. Pull one end and the other must move too.
Ordinary light is highly scattered light. Laser light is where all the light waves are in synchrony, in-phase - all lined up. This is how the mind becomes after an NLP life coaching session. Laser light being far more powerful than white light can be used in extraordinary ways:It can travel without distortion huge distances (they use it to measure the distance to the moon). It can create 3D holograms, cut metal, be used in surgery for accurate tissue cutting and no tissue bleeding etc. etc.
In the same way when you have a 'laser like mind' - when the conscious and unconscious parts of the mind are working in complete harmony, you can use it in your daily life to achieve your desires and goals.
